Personal Details: Joan was the daughter of John Blackman and Muriel Alice Blackman, of Pukukura, Cambridge. She married Brian Albert Wolfgram (1924-1999) of Karaka.

Joan's death notice states she was mother and mother-inlaw to Garry and Lana, Keith and Lynn, Phillip and Maureen and the late Cheryl.

It appears that at the time of her death Joan had been living at Glenbrook Rest Home.

Service Details: Joan enlisted with the WAAF in Hamilton and was posted to No. 1 Stores Depot, RNZAF Station Te Rapa.

Died: 14th of June 2017, at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland. Her funeral was held at the Chapel of Waters Funerals, Pukekohe, on the 20th of June 2017.

Connection with Cambridge: Joan had lived in Cambridge before the war and before joining the WAAF in 1942. She was often mentioned in the social pages of the Waikato Independent newspaper as attending dances and parties.
