Date of Death : The night of the 23rd/24th of October 1942, whilst returning from a bombing mission on Genoa, Italy it is believed Lloyd's No. 158 Squadron Halifax was lost in the English Channel. Lloyd was 27 when he was killed
Buried: Lying in an unknown resting site, Lloyd is comemorated on the Runnymede MemorialConnection with Cambridge: Lloyd recorded that he resided in Cambridge at the time he enlisted for RNZAF.
