An unknown Corsair coded '22' though the serial number is obscured. Note the unusual
fuselage roundel where it looks like only the white of the US star has been overpainted by
the NZ roundel blue, and not the full circle within the yellow ring. The code '22' appears
to be painted in yellow.

Corsair NZ5206, coded '06'. Note that there is also the name Gladys painted on top of the
fuselage just behind the cowl. This aircraft was flown by No. 21 Squadron from the 12th of
June 1945 and this shot will have been taken at RNZAF Station Jacquinot Bay

Three Corsairs formate on Neville Jackson's own aircraft. The closest to the
camera is NZ5370, coded "70", with the next aircraft being NZ5391 - coded "391".
The third aircraft is unknown at this point. Note the 500lb bombs

A seemingly unscathed Corsair with a rather bent prop. One wonders if it taxied into
something solid.

An atoll taken from Neville Jackson's Corsair. Most interesting in this photo is the roundel
which shows the unusual roundel colours where the white star seems to be showing
through the RNZAF-applied blue

Corsair NZ536? after a severe tail strike

This looks to be the same tail as above. Whether the damage is caused by flak
or from hitting a tree or other object during low level flying isn't known

A lovely formation photo which has been hand coloured by Neville Jackson. The closest
Corsair appears to be NZ5282, which served with No. 21 Squadron in 1945

A jungle target

NZ5262 on the left and NZ5263 on the right, picketed on the Jacquinot Bay flightline. NZ5262 was used by No. 21 Squadron from the 12th of June 1945 but passed onto No. 19 Squadron
in July 1945 and on the 25th of that month suffered an engine failure on take off, and crashed
back onto the runway, destroying the aircraft and injuring the 19 Squadron pilot, Flight
Sergeant D. Howlett. NZ5263 was used by No. 21 Squadron during the same period and
survived the war, to be sold for scrap postwar in New Zealand
